If ordering course materials online, you will not add a 第一天 item to your shopping cart. Your course materials will be provided without charge through Add/Drop period. If you are still enrolled in the course and have not chosen to opt-out of 第一天, 你的学生帐户将被扣款.

A. The charges are automatically applied to your Student Account when you register for the class. Students must make payment to the Bursar’s Office by fee payment deadline. If you have Student 金融援助 funds still available, the Bursar’s Office may automatically apply them against the 第一天 charge.

A. To “opt-out” means you do not want to participate in 第一天. It means you do not want the automatic access to your course materials and do not want the bookstore to charge you for those materials after the Drop/Add deadline. Opting out indicates you are choosing to obtain access to the required course materials through some other means. If you already have the required course materials, 或者想在其他地方购买, you will need to opt-out by the last day of Add/Drop. Once you opt-out, you will no longer be able to access the materials through 第一天.

3. Students will continue to have access to their 第一天 materials up until the Opt Out deadline and can opt back in. 

4. Students will be able to continue their access after the opt-out deadline by purchasing at the nationally available price.

A. Yes, but you only have until the end of the day, on the last day of Add/Drop to opt back in. Once that time has passed, you will need to acquire the materials on your own.
